Strange headlight issue
Hello all, I'm new to the club and would like to see if I can get some answers for a strange issue I'm having with my 07 headlights. I've done some searches and couldn't find anyone with the same problem. I have the xenon headlights and they were working just fine until the other day. I noticed the passenger side was out while on the drive home. Pulled into a parking lot, turned the car off, and a few minutes later got back in and started it. The headlight that was out was now back on. When I came out to the car this morning, started it and turned my headlights on. Once again, the passenger side was out. I turned them on and off a few times but it still wouldn't come back on. Once I turn the key all the way off and then turned the key back on again, the headlight will work fine. It doesn't flicker or whine or anything else. Any ideas? It's a sport without auto-leveling.

Weird I have 'kind of' the same issue although mine is an 04 and it's my drivers side that will cut out. Fortunately all I have to do is just turn the lights off then back on and it comes back on. Sometimes it goes out a few times during the drive, sometimes only once but I have no clue what it could be. I will say lately it only does it every now and again. Mine seems to have started when I put in a new head unit with the metra kit. I thought it had to do with possibly not running my ground wire good enough, so I re-did it and it seemed to have helped but like I said it still does it now and again. Sorry I can't really help but figured I'd at least mention your not alone! Hope you figure it out, maybe it will help me out. Did you recently upgrade your stereo or add anything electronic?

The car is bone stock to the best of my knowledge with the facotry stereo and is right about 34k miles...I haven't noticed it cutting out when driving. It just won't come on at all until I turn the key to off and then back on.

i dont think it could be a ground but dont quote me on that there prob both grounded to eachother but it could be a loose connection does it go in and out while your driving at all??? also did you try replacing the bulb?

also to rule out that stuff you could try switching the bulbs from one headlight to the other. if the problem follows you know its the bulb if it stays in the same one then its something with the actual headlight
