Strange Transmission Issue Started Today
So my car stays in a garage as I'm prepping it for the track & it's not my daily. It has been a few weeks since I've been over to start up the car and let it run for awhile. The car is on jackstands without ties (they are in climate controlled storage). The car is on a battery tender so it's always at full charge and always starts up right away without issue.
So today I start up the car and the darts up with no issue, I make sure the car is in neutral push in the clutch, shake the shifter 30.000 times to make sure it's in neutral and release the clutch. So to my surprise, I see the speedometer go to 2-3mph. I push the clutch back in & the speed goes to zero. I let the clutch out again and he speedo starts going again. I looked at the rear axle and it is turning (slowly) but the car is definitely in gear but I'm 100% certain that the gearbox is in neutral.
So I sat there with the clutch pedal depressed until the car warmed up to normal temps & shut it down. I proceeded to install the parts I brought over to the garage to install.
After working on other items on the car I started it up again & found it still doing the same thing.
So who has an answer to what's going on & help
me trouble shoot this thing?

Ok so
now I'm more confused because the car has never done this before now.
the only difference today was that the rear rotors were off the car as well as the wheels.
