IIRC, those who had failing cats said it smelled like rotten eggs, that could be the issue.
After running the car for a bit, look underneath to see if the catalytic converter is reddish. Do you hear any pinging or the so called marbles-in-a-can sound when driving? If so then the medium of the converter is failing and rattling around in there likely clogging it up.

I just had my cat replaced about, may or june of last year. I hear that marbles thing you are talking about though when i come to a stop sometimes. This was heard right after they replaced my CAT though?
Also might i add i looked up this marbles thing, but i don't believe i hear this sound from the glove compartment, its like if i have my window down going through a drive through i can hear it.

87 thou on the engine, spark plugs replaced about 8 months ago, coils not replaced dealership said they were fine.
Car is running fine though just wondering why it smells this way? Hoping the cat is not bad because they just replaced it.

Yea, the smells sounds like a cat issue but why it would fail so easily again if brand new is a bit strange. I wondered about the plugs and coils in regards to how well the combustion process is, perhaps it's not burning as much as it should be and it's clogging the cat up with unburned deposits thus accelerating the failure.
How many miles with the new cat?

Try to inspect the cat yourself after running it as I mentioned. If enough of the symptoms persist then as terch said, take it back to the dealer to replace it free of charge if it is the cat. If it is, try to discuss your concern with them as to why it would fail so quickly, I would suspect the root cause would not have been the cat and would be something else contributing to such an accelerated rate of failure.

Ok you say free of charge. how would it be replaced for free? I had it replaced under the state law warranty thing. I have it under warranty i purchased still but they had said my warranty does not cover exhaust issues. Would this be free of charge because it is under a year from the time i had it replaced?
thanks
Also might i add 2 months after my cat was replaced they had to replace my engine as well

I believe there's at least a limited warranty which is usually 1 year for parts replaced such as that which should cover it, but I'm not sure. Read on other threads here along the cat issues and you should be able to find an answer.
Also, most manufacturers have certain miles/years for warranty on certain exhaust parts like cats which is generally outside of the typical warranty whether extended or not. Usually it's somewhere along 8 years or 80~100k miles. I'm not certain about ours since I've never had a cat failure; read into it.

Yea that's how i got mine replaced under the 8 year 80 thing, im just wondering if it would be replaced for free. I mean im assuming it would be since it's so fast i just need to know for sure. Reason being is my warranty is 100 deductible which is not to bad but if they run a diag and find something wrong with the car that is not covered under my warranty they charge me $140 which in my opinion is stupid diag should be free.
