A few people actually including an corner balancing "expert" at a local shop that is well respected in the local autox scene. I also read the same on a few sites. I suppose it may be basically true on certain cars and setups but definitely not on the RX-8. I could have saved myself some time had I listened to the tech at Tein when he told me he had never seen a spring just fail all of a sudden.

Measure the distance from the top of the spring perch (where the spring rests) to the bottom of the strut on both your aftermarket and oem struts. If your struts are lowering your ride height, the distance on the aftermarket strut will be shorter. This distance is static. Regardless of other spring issues or strut compression you will be able to tell if the strut design put you at a disadvantage.

But that's what i first did, i changed the shocks trying to solved my problem and the problem remained then i changed my springs and the freaking problem is still there, my next move was buying a new factory shocks, what is a shame cuz the tokico i got cost me $240 (both) i know is not too much money maybe that's the reason i'm still having the issue, so the factory oem costs $340, but before i get those i'm trying to solve it with the solutions you guys are giving me....

I talked with my mechanic (he's not the one who installed the shocks/springs, i installed them in a well shop close to my home) he said that he thinks there is no the shocks or springs causing the issue, he said it should be some bushing (in the shop the guys told me some bushing is damaged) in charge of limit the height, so i'm buying all parts related to that, i'm attaching a diagram with the parts i think i have to buy, all are cheap as they are small, please take a look and tell me what other parts you think i should buy...

These are the parts from the diagram:

[ 1 ] strut normal susp., to 10/05 Left => $152.84
[ 2 ] strut bolt => $5.94
[ 3 ] Strut washer => $4.69
[ 4 ] Spring => $74.48
[ 5 ] Spring seat => $6.97
[ 6 ] Bumper => $17.29
[ 7 ] Bumper collar => $5.71
[ 8 ] Bumper cap => $5.71
[ 9 ] Bumper bushing => $4.97
[ 10 ] Bumper bolt => $2.44
[ 11 ] Dust cover => $85.40
[ 12 ] Bracket => $10.19
[ 13 ] Bracket bolt => $4.08
[ 14 ] Bracket nut => $3.32
[ 15 ] Gasket => $2.70
[ 16 ] Gasket nut => $3.32
[ 17 ] Upper bushing => $4.37
[ 18 ] Spacer => $4.13
[ 19 ] Spacer damper => $3.03
[ 20 ] Top nut => $4.51

I'm buying:

5,6,7,8,9,15,16,17,18,19,20

Which is going to cost me: 62.71 each in total $125

So if you think i should discard some of these parts would help me a lot, thanks.

Ok guys i haven't buy anything yet, i'm waiting any direction from you, i'm totally insecure about buying all these small parts looks like a waste of mony cuz it looks like it's not the trouble, please help me, the DIY solution looks fine, but i would like to solve the trouble, you think i should buy other shocks ? OEM shocks would solve my problem ? as when i had the OEM the car was fine ? please i don't want to spend more money without solving the issue...

They have a colored dots painted on them to identify the fronts from the rears. But it's also pretty obvious, you woudl have to be a pretty shitty mechanic to get the stock springs mixed up.

I have a set of stock springs in the basement; I'll take a look tonight for a way to identify them while installed on the car.

True, 9k, but you gotta admit the world is well-populated with shitty mechanics ...

IIRC, the springs with the purple dots are the rears and the ones with the pink (or orange depending on your opinion) are the fronts (on sport suspension equipped cars). But search and make sure, there is some discussion about it somewhere.

Nah, front's purple, rear's pink.

Purple: wire diameter 0.467" / 11.8mm

Pink: wire diameter 0.428" / 10.9 mm

The smaller end of the coil rests on the shock perch. The front spring (purple) will "fit" on the rear perch, but the rear spring (pink) will not fit on the front.

I checked the springs i had and they are pink, and the new ones are pink too, so I think they are ok, i have bought the bushings and bumpers for rear suspension, i'll wait for them to get here, and as soon as i have it i'll take my car to my mechanic i think that's what i had to do from the very begining, as i took it to a shop first to change the shocks and springs, they maybe did something wrong, could be possible, as rx8 it's kind of a rare car around here...

Hey guys i have a really really good info, i fix the issue, it was a simple thing, actually i was the one who close more to the issue it wasn't the shocks nor the springs, so i have a pair springs that i have bought for nothing :s, so the issue was the suspension bumper, i'm attaching the image, it's the number 6 in the diagram i attached before, it costs $17, i will never take again my car to another shop besides my mechanic.... this part looks like the image...
