A/T Trans problems
Hey guys, haven't been on here in a while, but I've been having some transmission issues. I don't know if its electric or mechanical, so I'll describe the problem. Btw, I didn't see an A/T specific problems thread like in the mod forum, so I just posted here. Thanks in advance.

First of all, it makes this god awful rattling noise when its in drive and gas is not applied. Thats not all. I always let it warm up for 3-5 minutes no matter the weather. Regardless, while going from reverse to drive, I have to wait oh 2-3 seconds sometimes just to give it gas or it would jump oh so badly. If I want to turn her loose, she'll get loose, but sometimes doesn't shift or she takes her sweet time and jumps when she finally does. Even when I'm using the paddle shifters, she still continues revving up for a good 1500-2000rpms or 1-2 seconds...redlined (completely with the alarms beeping) her two or three times and had to remove gas completely because she just wouldn't shift up. When I got her I put a whole bottle of Lucas' transmission fix product and that helped ALOT, but it was temporary solution. It still does it, just the heat that comes throught the cupholder isn't nearly as severe. Fluids are fine.
Sorry its so long....
Thanks!

Sorry about the delay, been out of town. I have never done anything with the transmission in terms of a flush and whatnot. I'm not the most literate person when it comes to cars, so forgive me of my ignorance. I'll do both of those and get back to you guys. Basic trans shop do cause I sure as hell don't have the tools or know-how to do it. I assume the dealer would rape me of my wallet if I took it to them too, yes?

^ agree 100%.. if you flush it you will end up damaging it even more. The best thing to do is drain it, take more ATF and spray it in the trans from the bottom to clean out the trans even more, then put a new filter in and fill up
