Tapping on idle

Tapping on idle
I was hoping to get some opinions from those with far more experience than I. Snapped a quick video of the sound, here's the link:
It's an '04, just north of 100k miles. Previous owner said it had a warrantied engine replacement in 2008 @ 65,000 miles.
Yesterday I replaced the plugs, wires, and coils, so I don't think it would be that. From others experiences, it seems it would be related to the SSV, or perhaps a belt/pulley? Basically, I just wanted some opinions before I went ripping stuff out.
If anyone could shed some light on this it would be very much appreciated :]
EDIT: Forgot to add, it "seems" like all the power is still there, so presumably compression is good. I'll probably go get it checked out when I have the time.

I did search. As I noted, I came to the conclusion that it might be the SSV because of my extensive research.
All I wanted were some confirmations in case my presumptions were incorrect. Didn't think it would be that big of a deal.

good job searching. your presumptions were correct it is the SSV causing the ticking noise.
at the time you posted the wolves were circling (13 guests viewing your post)
Quick fix is to remove your uim(the black upper intake)and loosely push a terry cloth (not tissue because it will break apart when you try to pull it out) down past the SSV and then soak the SSV with carb cleaner working the SSV open and close at the same time.if this doesnt work then follow the DIY jon put together.

Same noise ... not quite as loud.
