So over the past couple of days, I've noticed a ticking/tapping sound from the engine bay. The sound is mostly heard when the car is idling. When I rev the motor, the sounds seems to go away, but when the car idles again the sound comes back. The tapping/ticking sound also seems to go on and off similar to how an a/c compressor cycles every now and then. At first, I thought it was the alternator, but now I'm not sure...

History of the car:

'07 GT

coils, plugs and wires changed ~6k miles ago
oil changed ~1500 miles ago with gtx 10-40
premixed 4oz per tank
Racing Beat midpipe, air pump delete, Borla catback, K&N panel filter, Racing Beat ram air duct

yep, check the connection on the plugs.

is it coming from the coils section or the other sides?
