Unhappy Tire(d) Dilemma

Took my 04 RX-8 in last week for a tire rotation, and had some bad wear and a gash on 1 tire. Tires still have ~10,000+ miles left on them, since I mainly use the car for commuting currently (70 miles round trip all Interstate, straight shot). Since my wife is in school, I couldn't afford a whole new set, so I opted to get 2 new rear tires. The car had a set of 4 225 40 18s, so I wanted to go back to stock size so I ordered 2 225 45 18s. My wife took the car in since I work in a small town with no tire shop, and called me in the afternoon saying that she was driving and the ABS, EBrake, and DSC lights were on. Came home to find out they had put 245 45 18s on. So, I know it is the different tire sizes causing the problems. My question is what should I do? Order a set of 245 45 18s (will they fit?) for the front at discounted rate, argue over the phone since I leave for work and get back when the shop is closed, or are there any other options?

Thanks
