My car starts like its constantly getting flooded. put put almost to a stall for a min even when hot. Then smoothes out like nothing happened. Very hard to start when its hot. almost 20 secs of constant cranking til it finally starts. I can still get it past 140 on the highway, dosent overheat or anything. Idles smooth like new after it warms up. Air pump is working, and I checked all of my fuses. Since im still sort of a newbie at working on this car I want to ask questions before i start taking things apart. Also, when it starts to smooth out, I rev it to 7k rpm and you can smell a strong raw odor of fuel and thin white smoke comes out of the exhaust for around 10-15 secs. Recently ran into a deep deep puddle of water at an intersection in st pete during debbie, sucked in water and flooded. Thanks to the people at Maztech in drew park, all thats fixed. But could my problems be related to the flooding? 2 weeks before the flooding, my cel light came on for a fuel evap malfunction, that code has not come back. I just hope its not some chain reaction going on in my fuel system. Fuel pump is brand new as of 1,000 miles ago. Codes also say my mass air flow sensor is getting too much voltage. If anyone has had similar problems please talk to me. I really dont want to bring it in somewhere to pay for 3 hours of labor just to get the crap off to get to the injectors to find out it was only a simply fix if possible
Check Engine codes show P0203, P0205 and P0103

Teen,
I would look at the list in the thread. Specifically cleaning up the grounds, but MAF clean is not bad either. It is one of the steps. If sensors and computers are pissed, no way to tell what they are doing... The rest applies to an 04 as well. The First $100 thread is a compilation of what I did to make mine happy in the Orlando area.
This stuff could be the problem, or just in the way of figuring out the problem. Either way, I would start with MAF and Grounds. You will be out $15 and a few hours. Do not forget to reset the ECU afterwards.
