Ok, I did search but to no avail

The car is a 2004 at 105,xxx ish miles, and I know I'm at the ticking time-bomb phase of life. But as of today the car won't shift into 5th gear.

I just put on my BHR coils and I also put on my K&N intake like 2 weeks ago and it has felt like I gave the car new life. haha. But as I was test driving the new coils after I put them on, and the car had a issue going into gear, mostly any of the forward ones, reverse worked fine. After a minute of s***ing bricks, it went into gear and I pulled out of my neighborhood, but as I was shifting, it wouldn't go into 5th at all, with an occasional rough time puttin it into1st and 2nd. Ive had a slight grind every then and again when I downshift from 3rd to second, but I never thought much of it.

Anyone got any ideas?

I'm figuring the tranny is on its way out. Anyone know how much it'll run me for a rebuild or replacement?

I will tomorrow when it's light out. I'm going to the dealership tomorrow to have them change my spark plugs because I don't feel like it, the wires were already too much of a pain in my *** because I don't have small hands. I'm gonna ask them for any ideas too.

But if someone can give me a price range for a tranny that would be pretty sweet of you =D
