Trouble starting

Couldn't get my 2004 rx8 to start twice today it happened. 1st time did de-choking procedure on 1st time she started on 2nd try. Later same day tried to start her did de-choking still didn't start after 3 tries let her wait 10 mins did de-choking she started both times she was warmed all the way. My spark plugs r 6 years old. Do you think this this was flooding problem, spark plug problem, or something eles???

I think poor ignition contributed to the flooding.
Going 6yrs without changing plugs is really pushing it.
Also, do you have the upgraded starter?

Oops I think Maybe I do! I had a no start problem before back in dec. Mazda put a new engine in her that was part of a recall. So if I did would it b the spark plugs or something else??? Thanks for any advice

You better take a look at the part number on it, because it makes a big improvement.

^agree.
Look at the sticker on the side of the starter.
The original was N3H1.
The upgraded is N3H1 A
The updated is N3Z1
Refer to this DIY for further details and even how to remove it because I don't think you can see the label with in installed:
