Upgrades to OMP for series 1 to avoid center of the housing wear?

Are there any aftermarket upgrades for the omp so you can help to avoid the wearing in the middle of the housings? i know series 2 has the injection line going to the middle of the housing as well as the outside... but my series 1 i dont want to premix everytime to save the motor after i rebuild it... didnt know for series 1 if there were any upgrades ?

Nope. SOHN adapter, premix, and increase OMP rates VIA Cobb AP. You could use S2 housings, install extras injectors, and fabricate custom Oil metering lines and figure the vacuum lines but it's too much hassle and adds more points of failure IMO.

An ECU update tool lets you adjust the flow. It can be turned up. I did a Cobb and MM tune. Other tuners should be able to do the same.

Premix is a must, cranking up the OMP is still not enough.

Oh and if you use S2 housings you will have to drill and tap a couple of new holes for the oil pan because some will not line up.

...And use a separate ecu to deal with the OMP motors.

No I'm taking about feeding of the S1 pump and existing lines somehow.

Oh i thought you said front cover, brainfart on my side.

Still, premixing is the only real solution to the lack of proper lubrication at the center of the apex\housing.

I haven't given it much thought, just a few minutes of discussion when we rebuilt a local guys motor and he had one S2 housing (got it cheap). I agree on the premix.
