Vacuum leak?

i sent my logs in to MM about a month ago and got this message.

Thank you for submitting your calibration request! We wanted to let you know that we have received your submission and all your answers and data logs look correct. I have forwarded the information to Jeff so he can create your calibration.

Jeff got back to me and told me i got a vacuum leak. i was wondering if you guys could help me out. i have a AEM CAI i check all the couplers sprayed them down with carb cleaner.

i notice when i sprayed some where the intake connects to the pipe the idle would drop and jump. soo i tightened that and tried it again and nothing happened soo i figure everthing is alright now.

The files attached is my idle and cruise logs. what should i look for in LTFT and STFT?
Attached Files
File Type: zip
Cruise.csv.zip (10.1 KB, 40 views)
File Type: zip
Idle.csv.zip (3.6 KB, 40 views)

soo i found what could of been my problem but im not to sure if it did much. the vacuum hose that goes to the vfad was still there and wasnt capped. soo i removed that today and capped it.

i reset my fuel trim doing the 20 brake stomp, and im see numbers for LTFT at 12-15 and STFT 3-5.

Positive long-term trim above 12% is almost always a vacuum leak.

...and a month late but it can't be the VFAD because you have an aftermarket intake which doesn't have a connection for a VFAD. You are going to be looking for one of the hoses attached to the intake be leaking or not connected or as you thought earlier...the pipe fittings to be loose and leaking.

Yeah - I pushed two dozen calibrations out the door today, but I won't be back (chained) to my desk until Monday.

Well it can be the leak depending on where it was left open. The VFAD line runs right to the underside of the UIM just behind the Throttle body and that nipple is where it should be capped. Just to be sure.
The data log will be the judge.

Assuming you posted him your forum name here, your folder would be:
