Arrow Vibrations at 170-180kmh

hi guys..

I am new here, and English is also not my mother language...
i have some issues with my Rx8 maybe you could give me some advice.
The car is 2006,231 hp,6 speed,29000km on the tacho.
on the highway i am getting some vibrations at 170-180 kmh from the rear (maybe rear right-i have checked the tires ,they are fine).
second issue is that my car is also unstable at higher speeds
the third issue is the fog in the front lights(after washing the car).
can you give me some advices,i have extended warranty until 2013,but also i like to hear your advice, before i start to argue with my service
thanks and best regards from Europe,Austria...

Miki

Regarding your speed-related vibration Miki - first place I would suggest looking is at wheel balance. If you threw some weights this can induce speed-sensitive vibrations. Second place I would look is for a slightly deformed wheel/rim. Same effect. Both could also induce instability at higher speeds too.

Regarding moisture in the front headlight, if your covered under bumper-to-bumper warranty then fix for this should be covered.

Unsolicted advise: Search is your Friend and Google search is your Best Friend. Try going to Google, enter 'rx8club.com: headlight moisture", and push the Enter key. You will find a number of threads that have already addressed this topic.

Best of Luck!

Check your wheel balance and rear brake pads, just in case.
Is your alignment off?
Fog in the headlights is a warranty item in your case or a do it yourself afternoon if your warranty is up for that part.
The car being unstable at higher speed may be alignment, wheel balance, road and tyres related... or you simply deem as "unstable" the normal nose lift that occurs at such speeds

wheel balance is ok,i checked that too.i have driven other RX8 here, and there is no such vibrations ,not at 170 -180kmh,or on the 240kmh..there is something wrong .the tires are almoust new,Conti Sport Contact 3,rims are stock,no sign of deformation.

unstable:
it could be alignment,i am gonna ask my service to check that.i have droven lighter cars also reardrive, but never had such experience on the road, just as the car itself choose the path,at once.and no, its not the road,we have here some realy good "autobahn"..

headlight moisture:
i asked because my dealer says "its normal"
i have found also here the TSB which shows that the moist is ok, but in my case i dont have "moisty headlights",i have "rainy" headlights
i need to check my warranty ( its 3 year additional warranty, doesn include everything),but shouldn´t Mazda change that without costs,i mean i have only 29000km on the tacho?

On the other side, the car is great.i love it.i have also Mazda Xedos 9(Millenia),and RX8 is the "weekend drive" for me.Kids also love it,and my wife too.i started to pre-mix with Idemitsu ,and car runs better in any way.i also dont use the Dexelia any more,i have started with Motul ,5W-30 fully synthetic.

The instability at this point may be tyre design. Some tyres tend to follow the road surface more than others (directional tyres) so I still wouldn't worry about that
All the rest needs just an alignment check
