VIDEO: Clutch squealing noise, any ideas?
My clutch is making this squealing noise both when the car is driving and stopped. When you are driving the squealing gets faster the faster the RPM. It only goes away when clutch pedal is pressed (both when in motion or stopped). The pedal only needs to be pressed in past the freeplay amount then the noise is completely gone.
I've had the throw out bearing, clutch and trans fluid replaced but nothing has helped and the noise is getting louder. Any ideas what this could be?
Here is my vid:
Here is another vid with the exact same noise:
This noise is giving me the worst headache and I've already spend $800 trying to get this fixed Any ideas?

its gotta be the throw out bearing one thing that i did to my s10 that drives me crazy when the throw out bearing is put in it has to be torqued down evenly if not you'll hear that noise its caused by uneven wear on the throwout bearing

I got the old clutch and throw out bearing assessed and they have come back saying there is nothing wrong with them.
My friend had a look and said the noise seems like its from the throw out bearing but maybe the pressure plate is causing it. He said if the pressure plate was worn it would be pressing the throw out bearing uneven and part of it could be touching causing this noise.
I've already paid someone $750 to replace the bearing and clutch but he didn't do the pressure plate so I'm not sure what to do. I would hate to pay him more money to replace this then find out the pressure plate also wasn't the issue.

The second video on here is from my car. It is still doing it. One thing, and it could be just me imagining it, but if the weather is dry mine seems to not make the noise so much. I dunno, I could just be imagining it for sure but I haven't heard the noise in about a week and it has been dry all that time. I'm just waiting for some rain to see if it comes straight back. Lol.

I have the same issue! (2005, 102,000 mi, all stock except ls2 coils) Car stalled in neutral during rush hour -_-, i got it started once, drove a short way, and it died again, clutch pedal got stuck down several times with a nasty metal noise coming from the tranny. About to swap the thrust bearing and maybe the clutch/pressure plate if they look bad? Im a decent mechanic, using the DIY for sure, but any quick advice before I spend two days under the car would be appreciated.. Merry Christmas to me!
