Warming up too fast?
So my stock radiator had a crack in it. Replaced with Mizu Radiator and Shroud Kit. Installed foam insualtion all around the radiator. Now it runs hotter than before. It actually warms up way faster than ever. Today i watched my scan tool as i drove a total of 1.5 miles from COLD after a quick warm up. then 1.5 miles later it was at 185degrees already. RPM's were kept below 3000, ambient temp was 87* F. With the stock radiator, it took a bit longer than 1.5miles to come to 185*. i was thinking either a hose is collapsing (doubtful since i replaced all the hoses when the radiator was out) or thermostat is bad or its the cooling system is clogged elsewhere. any ideas?

it "overheated" once. Conditions were as follows: AMB temp was :78*F night time. right before the crest of a hill on a freeway, 3rd gear WOT 8000RPM-9000RPM, shifted into fourth WOT again, i saw the temp gauge a little higher than normal(two ticks higher than normal), looked at scanner and saw 234*F. immediately dropped to 6th gear and temps dropped within the next minute i hit the crest and coasted in neutral for another minute or two and the temps went down to 180-200ish again.
that whole night, normal driving saw temps of 194*-203*, running hard on level surface saw 212*-214*.
