Warning lights

O.K. here is my issue. Last week I start my car up late at night since I was the DD. My wife looks over and spots that my Warning light for the TCS,DSC was on. Although concerned, it felt normal so I kept driving. Got home and let her sit till next afternoon. Got back in and the warning light was gone. Today, I am driving down the road and my power steering light came on. Sure enough, I had zero power steering. I go to a light and was thinking how fun it was going to crank my car to the left, to get on the next street. I was sitting at the light and decided to shut the car off. I turned it back on and everything was fine again.
The only things recently done were. 1. I got my front rotors and brakes replaced with slotted vented rotors and new brakes. I read on the report that they used shims or something and 2. I installed the accessport and MM base map.
I am highly doubting the accessport had anything to do with it considering it has been on for over a month. I was curious if TCS,DSC and power steering could have accidentally been tampered with by putting the rotors on. I guess I just dont know exactly where these two things are located.

This is the Series 2 forum, from 2009 on-wards..

So how about filling out some details about yourself and your car, and then the answers may be more precise..

Is your RX-8 a 2004,5,6,7,8, etc
