Nice (or not so nice) to see I'm not the only one with a battery corrosion issue. I didn't take a before pic, but my battery was the same as 1145climber posted. To remove the corrosion:
1- Use a mix of baking soda and water (to make a paste... left mine a little watery) and let the paste sit on the terminals for 5-10 mins. Wear rubber gloves and goggles... it is highly corrosive battery acid after all! You will hear and see the paste react with the battery acid instantly.
2-After about 5-10 mins and no more sign of a reaction, hose off the battery!
Here's some pics of during and after... lools cleaner than off the shelf!

No worries, ur battery will die soon.
My battery had that problem too, not as bad as you tho. then about 1/2 yr later, it died (a week something ago)
then I brought an Optima red top, no more acid fear

The first pic I posted wasn't the battery acid alone... it was with the baking soda paste on it... cleaning it. I'd be in a world of trouble if that was all acid!

I had a dead battery two months ago, and there was heavy corrosion on it.
I replaced the battery and now two months later there is more corrosion. What
is the problem? What can I do?

You did not clean the connections properly.
It is best to get new terminals and even replace the cable. The corrison goes under the plastic coating of the wire and continues to grow.
You need to put some vaseline or anto corrossion on the terminal when done.
