weird clutch feel mazda said it was ok
So two weeks ago my clutch started to feel a little weird. It was really cold out side like 12 degrees, My break light was stuck on so I re filled my fluid with the proper stuff. Then a couple days later my clutch started not springing back as fast as normal. So i take it in To mazda tell them about it and say im getting a rough idle on my new remain engine. So they do a decarb and say the clutch is working properly Now it has got progressively worse and this morning it was really cold and when I started the car my revs went crazy going from 1 rpm to 4 rpm and back I pushed down the clutch held it in for a second and it stopped.2004 new remain engine with 3000 mi and all new sensors maf, both o2s, and shaft sensor and coils and plugs are new. Any help?

I forgot to mention that I get a slight bring going from first to second and sometimes it wont let me down shift to third but if I take my foot off the clutch and push it back down it will let me every time. I checked the bracket and it seems good no flex at the spot welds. Any help would be appreciated.

You said "new sensors maf, both o2s, and shaft sensor and coils and plugs" what about your clutch, how old is it? What year and mileage is your car?
Maybe try to describe "feels weird" a bit better and what do you mean your brake light was stuck on?

Thecar has 65 thousand its an 04 the clutch seems to not want to spring back very fast. When pushed down it slowly comes back up. Thanks for any help. E- brake light couldent shut off one day did some reading and that light stays on when your brake fluid is low. Your clutch and brake share the same fluid.

How low did your brake fluid get, hopefully not very low at all. At 65k miles depending how your car has been driven you could certainly need a new clutch.
From a quick google search it seems like maybe your slave or master cylinder *might* be having problems, have you noticed any fluid leaking anywhere from them? Hopefully someone else can help you, because I really do not know. Just googled clutch comes up slow, and that was suggested.

I hope its not the whole clutch. I searched and got slave cylinder to. My fluid just got low enuf that when it sloshed it kick the light on, but I did notice that one of the tubes coming from the break fluid tank is leaking a little like it slipped off. I tried shoving it back up but felt like I was gunna break it so I stopped. Hope someone can shine a light on this problem. Thanks.

Sounds like you may have a bad slave cylinder, however as you have discovered a leak that would be my starting point to fixing your problem. Fix the leak and go from there. I am willing to bet it is the source of your problems.

Got the clutch bled.. it did have some air in it. But its still not doing good. Its still coming up slower than it should. Found a slave cylinder for 105 bucks. But are they a pain in the *** to put in? Its going to take two days to get it should I order it or just take it in. I have basic tool and basic knowledge.

They are trying to shaft you, it is very limited space between the bellhousing and body, but it is doable, you can drop the PPF and lower the rear of the trans, it will help marginally, if your going to let the shop do it, put a new clutch in while their at it. Or do it yourself, its not that difficult, maybe have a buddy give you a hand.
