Can’t find leak…

I’ve been looking for a few days now but i have a coolant leak. The coolant is pooling into the little indents on the lower intake. I’ve looked at diagrams and they don’t show any coolant lines above the area its pooling in. Im wondering if any of you know any ways coolant can be getting there and from where. The photos are from my old engine for better visibility so you can see where I'm talking about.

View from rear (puddles in front though)

I’ve checked both of the tubes that come from the throttle body and there is no liquid at any of the ends and no coolant trails coming from any where in between. Thanks for the recommendation though. Anything else it could be

Hoses going to thermostat housing would have to spray some distance, same for heater core hoses. Worth looking I suppose. Do you have a pressure tester so you can load up the system when the coolant won’t burn you?

No I don’t. I’ll look to see if there is any trace coolant around those connectors, but i might have just found needle size hole on the underside of one if the throttle body tubes. If it is what it is, then it would make sense since it is right above it sort of and i didnt see it before because another line was under it blocking the hole. If its not this line than ill dig around the thermostat.

Found it?

Ok, i am almost certain it is the thermostat. The coolant goes half way between the top hoses and the bottom hoses and below. (So I’ve checked off the top hoses) there isn’t any hoses that have coolant at the connection points on the bottom of the thermostat (so i don’t think it’s spraying or leaking from them). It only leaks some times, some short drives it will leak others it wont, some long drives it will leak others it wont. Could it be coming directly from the thermostat (a crack) or does it have to be a hose connection?
