weird oil level on dipstick
So to keep it short...
I had a shop replace my coolant and oil about 4 or 5 weeks ago.
I have not driven a lot but everytime i go to check my oil it reads WAY above the fill line.
I dont have a picture for you guys, but the way the oil on the dipstick is forming makes it look like when you check the oil after turning the car off a few minutes prior.
No matter how long i wait, the same thing keeps happening.
It isnt a definitive "the oil stops here" it looks like its splashing in there or something and i cant get a definitive readout.
I usually wait overnight to check my oil in the morning, and even waiting 2 days repeats the same thing... I thought it might be because my dipstick had a slight bend in it, so i straightened it out and no change.
Is there anything wrong? or did they just massively overfill my oil?
I have not taken my intake out to inspect, and i dont have a oil catch can.

They probably read the spec for how much oil the car takes in total and then added that amount without realizing a couple quarts hang out in the lines to the coolers. I did it once changing my own oil, now I jack one side of the car up and let it drain then repeat with the other side. It gets all the oil out every time. You can either drain it down or just wait for the MOP to use it, having oil high shouldn't hurt anything.
