another option is going with a Meagasquirt. its an engine management ECU that you build or can have built. not saying anything bad about the Accessport, i'm just throwing you another option to consider,

Beating a dead horse still I see...
The accessport is hands down the best Engine Management System for the RX8 currently. I would encourage you to read and re-read the following important post:
https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...00&postcount=1
It's a flasher device which allows you to install custom tunes onto your stock PCM. No splicing, no wiring, no aftermarket modifications.
A couple items needed before buying the accessport would be a wide band AFR gauge if you don't have one already and a means of data logging whether it's to a laptop, or a stand alone device.
As Luis has pointed out some people have experienced a waiting period for tunes from MazdaManiac (who is the only person tuning accessport RX8's) but the reasons for these long waiting periods are due to people not following directions or simply not understanding the concepts well enough to know what they are doing.
I'd check out www.mazdamaniac.com as well for information on how to order the accessport.

Accessport please. Sunflower I bet if you get the accessport from MazdaManiac, and you take your time to research and then research your research, and with the help of MM and his maps, your car with be working properly. But it will take some time. Be patient. Not a quick fix.
