I changed my tires and I had no more wheelhop.
I still went with OEM because I got an amazing deal for all 4 of them.

I just recently encountered the same issue. Incredible wheel hop during a burnout. Granted I have had the car for 2 years and this was the first time that I've experienced anything like this. I normally play with the car around corners as I should...not stoplights. I wonder how much of a factor does temperature make? It was in the 50s. (17k miles on stock tires @ 31psi) From my searching this seems to happen to many IRS cars at any given RPM. Other than the obvious...'stop doing burnouts', any suggestions on how to keep the back tires planted firmly during a burnout?
