Idea: disconnect battery for 10 min to reset ecu and get rid of check engine light, then plug it back in. turn on ignition and press the brake pedal 20 times in 10 sec then run the car for 30 min so the computer can relearn to idle. try that out and see if it works.

Edi: make sure the oil pressure gauge sweeps.
