Lightbulb Wiper arm question.

If you have had any issues with the driver wiper arm, please feel free to post your input or experience.

The driver wiper arm on my 06 model doesn't work anymore. Now, from my experience in the parts business, I would assume this was just a worn out bushing that has stripped. The arm moves slightly but goes nowhere. Passenger side works fine so I'm 150% sure it's not the motor.

But, I'm not an all-knowing being so I could be wrong. All I want to know really, is has anyone taken a wiper arm off and inspected one before? I haven't and I don't feel like tearing mine apart without some kind of plain instruction.

kthx

Looking at this...... http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0
It appears as if the two sides are connected via #6 if I'm looking at it correctly, so............. my guess would be that #1, #2, or #6 are stripped? #2 might just be loose? Take off #3 and see what you find.

Hope it helps.
Not going to take mine apart to find out the answer, but again.............pop of number 3 and see what the deal is. If you get the wiper arm off, operate the wipers and see if that side turns. My guess is gonna be that the nut is loose or the flat side of the pin has been worn off.
Not really sure.

Just went back and put picture in first post in case others need it.

I hate diagrams, they are confusing. It's like a jig saw puzzle to me
