Won't Rev, no code but CEL
I've searched extensivly before asking as i fear the wrath of the pros.
Car is question is a 2004 RX-8. Little background, REW swap using the front cover from an 8 and all the electricals from the 8. Got the swap up and running mid spring this year, no problems until just recently.
Driving at 75 mph car suddenly went pig rich and i lost all throttle control.
Got it towed home, got a code for the front O2 sensor, after reading the forums, i decided that could be the cause.
Replaced it, started it up, same situation, CEL, no codes this time.
My feelings are it's either the TB or the OMP. Any suggestions.
I can provide more info if needed.

Could be a stuck TB actuator, but it usually shows a P2112 after a while of giving it gas. It's easy to clean so just give it a try, it's always good to keep these things clean anyways.
Does it stall or just runs but it wont go past a certain rpm?

Coil packs are good, they are the BHR upgrades with less than 4k miles on them.
TB is cleaned, after the MAF that was the next thing i checked.
I read through the workshop manual and there is a way to test the resistance on the OMP, i think that will be my next step.

check the wires on your ignition, BHR is great but even ray isnt perfect all the time. perhaps there is a faulty wire? Usually when you are getting constant rich readings and poor reving it has something to do with plugs, wires, or coils. Pull the plugs and check them as well. Running my car with various different tunes throughout my turbo install I went through quite a few plugs. shocking how quickly they can fowl.

Make sure the wires are seated properly as well.... even if the wires are perfect, if they arent seated well, or dirty, they will cause big problems (ask me how i know)

Checked everything this weekend, TB tests came out ok, just like the workshop manual said.
Checked all the plugs and wires, all the plugs were clean enough and there was spark coming from all four wires.
I performed a few tests on the OMP, the postioning switch read weird, it says there should be resistance of less than 400 ohms, when i test the resitance, i get an OL situation.
I've found that the postion sensor used on the OMP is actually the same as a TPS from a 2003 Mitsu Outlander.
Is it likely the sensor just needs to be adjusted?
Is it possible to trick the computer into thinking the postion sensor is working by using a resistor?

So i re-tested the postion switch for the OMP, found i would get a restiance reading ONLY when i was moving the actual sensor.
With the snesor staitonary, there was no restiance. I tried reading the workshop manual, but it did not say wether there should be a reading when the pump is moving or not.
Also, i replaced the front O2 sensor, i've got the code P0130. i checked the harness for the sensor, no breaks or anyhint like that.
Any suggestions on what to check next?
