Yet Another Power Steering Issue

ohhh drill bit going through grounded metal hitting a main power wire to an all electric power steering system.

Honestly id have no idea where to even begin. That whole system is really sensitive as it is, sending a quick ground burst could have done some damage.

BTW, new oem rack = ~$1500, new EPS module = ~$1000.

There is a re-centering procedure, but if the light is on for that the code will say that the calibration is the issue.

GOT IT FIXED!!

There was one more wire in the harness that was cut by my bit, soldered and started the engine and the light is off and I have power assist! w00t

I was worried that I may have grounded the system but luckily I had my battery disconnected when I was working on the car, so it looks like that didn't happen.

I was stoked but then I found a giant puddle of oil under my car....under the passenger side of the car pretty far back. No clue where it is coming from, it has to be my turbo....not happy about that. UGH!

Anyways, thanks for all the help guys! Turns out it was my own stupidity that caused all this...
