17s or 18s for winter
I've decided on Blizzaks but I'm not sure how much better 17" wheels would preform in the Wisconsin winter. So... what do you guys recommend?
Do 17s ride / grip better and still look ok or should I stick with 18s and trust the Blizzaks to work either way?
Thanks!

17's will give you a taller sidewall. You'll have a little bit better ride with it and possibly more traction. Usually the taller the sidewall, the softer it is. A soft sidewall aids traction in slipper conditions.
Go with a 17x7.5 or something. Narrower is better as well as it cuts through the snow easier.

I just bought a set of Blizzaks 215/55/17 for my winter steels. Like it has been already stated more sidewall and narrower is better for winters in the snow. I haven't driven a rear driver in the winter for a long time so it should be interesting....
