17x9 28mm offset fit?

I got a line on a set of 17x9" wide wheels which I believe the offset is 28mm.

Will these fit or will I require fender rolling or other?

I'd like to use these for track wheels...

Cheers,

Andre

What tire size are you gonna run?

245/45/17 might require some rolling in the rear and be real close up front depending on your camber settings.

i doubt he will be running 245s....that's a little narrow for a 9inch wide wheel..

Looking at probably 255/40R17 all around.

I found out the wheels are actually 40mm offset so that should help.

I'm running 255/40ZR-18 in the rear with very minor rubbing on bumps, so you will probably be okay. Oh..............my offset is +38mm

Should fit easily, I had a 275/40/17 on a +44 wheel 17X9.5. The offset makes a big difference it was was a +28 instead of a +40 you'd probably be screwed.

so, with a offset larger than +44 , you can fit in 275 without rolling fender?
very good to know....

assuming you have this setup all around, right?

yea, if 40+ you'll be fine. if 28+, you might need the rear fender roll!
