18 x 10.5 +35 Enkei RS05rr none stagger 265/35/18 Re12D
Test fit my new track wheeel set up
Was originally think this might be too aggressive for Rx8 , but since next track season is coming shortly , decide to try it out anyway
To my surprise With current ride hight and rear fender roll flat, i think it will clear

It will definitely need the rear fender lip extension rolled flat. I ran SSR Competition 18x10.5 +43 with 265/35-18 without having to flatten the lip, but it was close. So you have a wider tire and the wheel is 8mm further outboard. It would rub without flattening the fender lip.

Been use 265 on 9.5j et 29 with no problems on track

You’re not the only person on here and it’s not always about you. I know you said your fender is rolled flat.
I’m explaining it for the hundreds/thousands of people that come on here asking if a wheel will fit. They don’t understand these things.

Because that was the maximum tire size allowed for a street tire race class. 10.5 just because it fit with zero mods and kept sidewall flex to a minimum. The SSR Type-C was very lightweight. Seemed like 18 lbs each or so. Dannobre has that set now. Kind of kicking myself now for not having kept them. I have a set of the Type-H that I was able to find several years ago, but they weight more.

Yeah runing wider to keep side wall flex minimum, and keep tire foot print to maximize with little bit of stretch
I weight my enkei10.5 with 265 compare to my 10j volk ze40 with 275
Only few houndred gram more
Which i think is not too bad

I have the same exact setup as op and works fine for me. No fender liners in front, fenders are rolled front and rears with a slight pull and bumper tabs are removed/relocated front and rear. It doesnt rub at all and my ride height is around 12.75 from center of hub to fender
