245 on a 9.5" is hardly a stretch

245 shouldn't be much of a stretch on a 9.5 rim, but if you look at his pictures those tires are definitely stretched. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that those tires are narrower than 245 or that those wheels are wider than 9.5.

According to tirerack those tires have a 9.8" section width when measured on a 8.5 rim, tirerack says that for every 1/2" in wheel width you gain 0.2" in section width, putting these in the neighborhood of 10.2" on a 9.5" rim. Those rims are quite a bit wider than the tires, the numbers just don't add up.

I just got my Direzzas on too!!!

245/40/18 on 18x9.5 +35 wheels!!!!

A little strech...Direzzas run a little wider than indicated.

still have not fully played around with height....will probably lower about 1 inch during the week...or whatever I will be happy with.

here's how she looks:

No problems with clearance.

I had a flat and wiped out a tire. The only one I could get in a hurry was the Dunlop Direzza. It was cheaper than the tires that came with the car. I couldn't car less what the tires look like, as long as they work. Has anyone had any problems with these?

update....11K miles so far on that setup ( I drive a lot ) tires look very very good still. More than 60-70% left with 12 autoxs so far this season.

All about toe!!!
