19" and TPMS
has anyone done this or read a thread where they put some 19s on their car and had the tpms to work correctly? i'm on this thing everyday (surprised i haven't been fired at work yet) and have yet to see this. i just had the 2 recalls done on my car on friday and the service manager strongly urges me NOT to get 19s due to warranty issues. i understand that they have to prove the the 19s were the source of a problem....yada yada. i'm obsessed w/trying to hook up my car now for the summer... and look at the same wheel pics for my car everyday!!!!

It's pretty simple. You have to transfer the sensors from your stock wheels to your new 19" wheels or you can purchase a new set of sensors and install them on the new wheels.
They fit some aftermarket wheels and some they don't fit. If you size your new tires correctly and install the TPMS sensors you should be fine.

Is that width and offset gonna work?????

I'm thinking you're gonna have problems. Vivid Racing did 19x9.5's in the rear and used a +45 offset. That to me sounds like the proper fitment. Your wheels are 10" wide and they are going to be spaced outward another 23 mm. To be honest, I think you're going to have a problem.

i think you're right. using a calculator online, it gave me the following:
Current Wheel Width 8 inches Current Wheel Offset 50mm
New Wheel Width 10 inches New Wheel Offset 22mm
Your new wheel will have the following chracteristics:
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 3mm MORE
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 53mm
****!

Yep, running 10s in the back presents it's own problems. You'll definetly want to roll the frenders to keep them from rubbing over bumps and or if you plan on having someone in the back seat. My 9.5s in the rear are perfect and don't stick out past the fender well.
As for the wheel sensors, I didn't put them in because I didn't want to offset the wheel with the xtra wheel weights and I've gotten used to the flashing light.
