19 X 8 with a 35mm offset

Unless you're staggering, you should probably go with something that is at least +40. The 225/35/19 is too small IMO. Use a 245/35/19, because it is a very close match to the stock tire's height.

225/40 19 is what Mazdaspeed uses on the A-spec MS RX-8. The stock (225/45 18) gives a diameter of 25.97in, and thesse tires would give you 26.08in. The only thing that your choices for tires may be slightly limited (as it is with the stock tire). BUT doing this... your speedometer changes less than 1mph.
