2 options for rims here, which do the community think look better?
I am buying wheels this week, but need to get some opinions from my fellow drivers. Both are 18s and non staggered. I am only buying wheels and I will be keeping my tires from my stock wheels since I just bought them 2 months ago and they have less than 1k miles on them. Let me know what you guys think.
#1 - 18 x 7.5, +35, 5 x 114.3, 5Zigen Hyper 5ZR hyperblack, 25 lbs wish they made these in an 18 x 8 or 8.5, but you can't always get what you want.
#2 - 18 x 8, +42, 5 x 114.3, Motegi MR107 machined black, 28.4 lbs
The tires I'm running now are Khumo Ecsta 225/45/18. Stock replacements if I can remember correctly. I do not autocross or do anything more than drive to and from work and class which puts about 30 mi/day on the car, so I'm not worried about grip or handling, just looking good from point A to B.
I am kind of leaning towards #1 just because I love 5Zigen wheels, but I'd like to know all of you guys' opinion.

the 5ZRs are not concave, i think it is just the lighting on the picture. 25 is only 3 lbs more than the stock. Like I said though, I'm not to concerned with a total increase in the weight. the offset on #2 is +42.

looking back at the weight list on the 5Zigen's, the 25lbs is for the 5zr's is for the hyper model, I have not found a weight for the non-hyper model, so the weight is probably incorrect.

If you want 18x8 or 8.5 wheels, check here http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=152 they have tons of them. Just be sure you look at the 5x114.3 wheels.

I thought he said he was re-using his stockers... oh well. Not a fan of the wheels but if you like them thats all that matters.
I hate these threads. People ask which rim looks better; we give them feedback. Usually we suggest other rims that fit their criteria. Then they come back a month later with an update of rims they bought that werent on the list to begin with, and they also werent on our "to look at" list.
Why bother making a thread if youre not going to change your opinion?
I could search and easily find 10 threads about this...

... I did reuse my stockers... I'm apparently dyslexic and cant type the proper format and size of my tires. I am using 225/45/18s. Also, I bought these because I have yet to see anyone with an 8 with them. I appreciate everyone's input, however, the recommendations I got for wheels consisted primarily of wheels that a majority of members already have or they are like 3 grand. No offense, but I didn't ask for recommendations, only an opinion about rims I was interested in. But again, thanks for the input.
