275/30/19 Pirellis and 9.5" Hiro's are on!

275/30/19 Pirellis and 9.5" Hiro's are on!
Those, of course are the rears... the fronts are 245/35/19. I was pleasently surprised that the shorter sidewalls didn't make the ride noticibly rougher - it feels about the same. The total diameter of the new wheel/tire combo is 3/8" shorter than the factory 18s and 225/45s.

Hey nice setup..I believe very noticeable power loss right??
I am changing my front with 225/35/19 this week just to have exactly the same diameter etc with the rear 265/30/19 i have..

The 275 tire is very much to rotate it...Try heading with an rx8 with stock wheel combo..You ll sure see you can't beat it...
Just to let you know i am not talking personally and telling you that you re slow,i have also staggered setup in 19s and very leightweighted

Okay - I see. That makes sense. I wonder - because of the significant gain in traction - if the car can now be launched harder resulting in a same as stock or better than stock set-up.
Of course, I'll admit, I'm as concered with the appearance as I am with performance. If not... I'd be driving a WRX STI
