275/40/19 anyone?

I have plans to buy this size of tires for my 3 rotor RX-8................
I wondering if any one already used this size of tire without rubbing or any other
problem. My 19" wheels on the rear are axis hiros 9.5" wide.

thanks for your help!

Manuel

I don't think you can run that much rear tire. I ordered a 275/30/19 to fit. I really think you need some custom rear fenders to run that much rear tire

Rigth now I have a 265/30/19 (toyo T1-S) and I don't have any rubbing problem,
my problem with /30/ tires is that my car spin a lot. I'm looking to go to a /40/
tire to have less spin problems. I used a /40/ tire but in 18"(265/40/18) BF godrich drag radial with the factory wheels and they don't give me any problem.

my friend rgonza used a 245/40/19 without any problem but I'm looking to use a wider tire
than 245...................but without fitting problems.

I really don't whant to use a /30/19 tire.......................

I have a 275 / 35 / 19 in the rear. I rub only when the back of the car dips... i would say 3 rubs a week. Im also running +38 in the rear.

Thanks Kris,

I'm thinking now on 265/40/19 if they are available or the 245/40/19.
I just whant zero rubs............................
I whant a tire with a bigger radious for less spin.
