3rd gen RX-7 calipers.

Will anyone with knowledge of the 3rd gen RX-7 kindly tell me if its calipers (the powdercoated ones with the engraved Mazda logo) will fit the 8?

How does it compare in size with the 8s? 2pot, 4pot?

thanks.

Why bother? The brakes on the 8 are great. The FD ones are 4pot, but are designed to be used with a smaller rotor.

Just wait for calipers designed specifically for the car.

Mazdatrix has a cheap Brembo kit, available in colors. If all you want is the looks, they will give you that plus a possible increase in performance.

They are in kit form, so anyone could do the install. An FD conversion would mean you have to fab custom brackets, possibly use a different rotor, etc. After that, you would have 10 year old OEM brakes. Lame.
