40th suspension

just wanted to know, if there is any difference between the 40th suspension and a normal 8. i know the 40th has bilstien shocks, is that the only difference or do they have a different spring rate? im thinking on getting new springs and sways, just seeing if its worth changing everything or just certain peices.

TL;DR im thinking about racing beat springs and sways, is it worth changing the 40ths setup?

Well... It really depends on what you want to do. I want grip. Take a turn, run on the tracks ect. So I got AP sway bars and end links. Also have Tanabe nf 210's but they are to soft and the springs are clunking cuz they are compressed. Guess my oem shocks are sagging. I'm going with a coilover set up next week. Something cheep but gets the job done for the dd car and every now and then track events.
I can tell you this; the AP sways and end links made a BIG I mean BIG difference. Just having springs kinda sucks. Its good if your just going for looks. But you get use to it real quick and it will not get rid of body roll like sways did.

Oh yes. Try the rear AP sway bar with endlinks and some springs. That alone will let you kick out the back end a lot faster also streached tires.
