They were inexpensive, and work well for me.
Cost was $130 Canadian per wheel ( about $99 US)
The Nokian tires grip really well on ice.

I am sure that you are really looking for stock size or larger performance wheels, but I will follow the trend . . . here is the 8 with the winters, being Toyo Garits on 17" ADR GT-Sports:

A ignorance question for RX8on19s:
Why did you run /30/ in the back? Is it because 275/ doesn't come with /35/ (which is similar to your front)? Does this means your rear is seating slightly lower than the front.
Cheers

I would not do it. Here is why:
Chrome adds heavy metal. Adds about 2 lbs per wheel.
Chrome can not be fixed or refinished if damaged

I know on a big-*** 4x4 pickup it can look pretty cool on those 20" rims and knobby tires.
On an RX-8 it is a matter of personal taste.
I just do not like chrome on something that is easily scraped up or nicked. Once the chrome is blemished you are basically out of options.
Besides, on an 8 about the only bright chrome items are the badges, so it kind of looks out of place, at least to my eye.
But what do i know?
Aesthetics is in the eye of the beholder.
