After Market Rim Photo

Here is a pic of my 17 inch Mille Miglia Evo5s with Blizzak LM-22 snows (and TPMS Sensors) from Tire Rack for about $1800.

Positron,

Why would you put 17" rims if the car already comes with 18"?

He got an AT, so, he's probably already up 1 size.

Yup, I've got an AT with the GT package so it came with 18 inch wheels. I put the 17 inch rims on because I could only find 17 inch snows by mid-December. Also, slightly narrower snow tires do a bit better than 18s and I decided I would rather not be switching tires on and off the 18 inch stock rims twice a year. Most of the trades between 17 and 18 inch snows have been discussed extensively in this forum.

Winter tires. Narrower is better for winter performance (snow/ice); 17s are lighter and cheaper than 18s, for both the wheels and tires.

Better performance, less expensive.

Gordon

These rims are the best looking rims I've seen. I wish you would take some better angles to show them off. I just worry about the performance, weight and noise characteristics. My stock 18 rims and rubber are getting percievably louder after putting approx 9k miles on them thus far.

RX8on19s, how much does each rim weigh. I don't want to sacriface dead weight for looks but like I said those things look awesome.
