The Fult Tilt 8 and Kyle Mohan didn't get past the round of 32. I thought Mad Mike qualified but he didn't run today, I guess he didn't qualify?

The FD made it past 1 or two rounds, he was pretty good

If it fit no problem it wouldn't be "aggressive" lol. Trimming that plastic off really isn't a big deal though.

dude honestly i heard how the judging style was wayyyyy weird. Well weird considering that i didn't know that the trailing car had to keep the same line otherwise they'd lose points??? I call BS on some of those calls...especially kyle mohan. I feel he got robbed. IMO tho.

i got fresh pics for this thread tho. Ima post em' up tomorrow.

Very true, and very odd that I am willing to do a roll but not cut a piece of plastic off my car.....

Got any pics of that by any chance?

Let me adjust my previous statement.
I want aggressive, but I also want it to look right... if it's so aggressive that I have to modify it by cutting up something that will be noticeable when someone is looking at the wheels, I need to rethink.

I want it to look as flush as possible, a little camber is ok. Maybe I need to do the rears in +37? And also, we were even thinking that I should go with the 255/40-18 in the back instead so that it's not too stretched on a 9.5 wheel, which may add to the problem of the plastic.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3225/...dcf60f0b67.jpg That is 18x9.5 +38 with 245/40 Nitto Invo on MS springs and Koni struts.
Didn't require a roll or anything, but after I put 5mm spacers on it started to rub that plastic just a little bit.

Yea alot of guys are going more towards the grassroots drifting because FD has seemed to get away from it. I'm personally looking forward to more XDC, ProAm, and Vegasdrift comps this year. I also can't forget to rep Drift Indy aka MDU Drift.

Riverside seems a pretty good place to live if you're into drifting, you've got Adams and Perris right there.

Well in other news I know its not about wheels, but I got a quote on a formula D cage from a guy here in AZ and I'm super stoked. Once my stock interior items sell and I get my new Sparco Evo XL in, its time to send the car to get caged.
