I often wonder how these guys get around. I am very careful and only on Teins and I scrape fairly often.

It isn't really all that bad. It pretty much becomes second nature like driving stick

Yeah he's right. I used to have just stechs and the front was pretty low, so I had to watch out for speedbumps head on and such, but now that Im over an inch lower in the rear and 1/2 inch up front, you really have to watch out for shitty roads. I always get angry drivers behind me because I go slow over bumpy roads. Even when they can just go around me they like to sit behind me and tailgate lol.

i hit some nasty unexpected roadwork today that was not on the street yesterday. steel plates sitting on a couple inches of asphalt. did not slow down enough and hit everything pretty bad. was still able to drive into work with nothing falling off, these things hold together better than you would think

Yeah man, you would not believe these Houston roads. There are piles of cement that randomly stick a few inches in the air. If I did not know they were there they would take my whole bumper clean off if I ever drove in that lane.

On some Houston freeways I bottom out going just 50mph becuase they built the road so shitty.

patience and compromise.

I guess there could be compromise in no longer driving on freeways or at night...

I remember Reverend telling me the scraping sound is part of the music soundtrack for him. daredevil. lol

All the businesses around here are worried about flooding so they make the entrances at a crazy steep angle and have the parking lot 18" higher than the road. A stock malibu shot sparks leaving the freebirds by my place.

I already have my compromise at the point of scrapping the bumper every time I go up my driveway and into my garage. I'm not willing to go beyond this however where it includes scrapping the oil pan off.

Driving with a super low car is quite a headache. Once you drive a bit higher car you realize how much less of a headache it is not having to avoid absolutely everything. My current ride height isn't too bad, considering how much lower it could be.

As long as the lowest point of my car is a minimum 3.5" I'm fine with it
