245 40 18 would be to stretch for 9.5 ?
I have 245/40 on my 18s (before that, it was 235/40) and the stretch isn't that bad, had the rear slammed with two large adult passengers and it clears the rear fenders with +38 all around. It really depends on how your wheel offsets are. The rear wheels will clear without modifications if I have to drop my car, the fronts however, would have to be around +28 or less with fender rolling and some.

That 8 looks beastly!

That setup is going to look really good Munchy. That was the same spec I am planning to run for my RPF1's.

Coming soon: contribution to this thread!

Spacers may be needed, but wheels come first.

Looking forward to flushing daily..

RX-8 roof rack...

Post pics of your car with the roof rack. I might be interested, been browsing to see how either a THULE or YAKIMA rack would look in the 8. I'm kinda sick of loading my snowboard to fit it plus the fear of the edges messing the interior of my car. I don't like to put it through the middle because I constantly have to remove and install my bindings, specially if I just want to lock-and-load once on the mountain.

Inch is 25.4mm or whatever so it should be a slight bit less of a stretch

Dude you can pick up a rx8 rack from ORSracksdirect's for about $350 shipped. Mine was 370 with the bike carrier. Your better off just going with them and getting a board holder otherwise the hassle of me trying to find a box to ship em in and shipping charges it would jus come out damn near the same. I dont have any pics of it on my car since i'm using my truck latley, I might put it bacon i dunno.
