Since when is cut springs ever a good thing? I can't see them being good for drifting or any other form of driving. Maybe for looking slammed in a parking lot.

Zumn, you've got to give it some time before you go criticizing other people's setups, lol. Either that, or maybe those 20" dubz are simply engrained in my mind

If the SSR's are going on Izzy's car, what wheels will you be rocking? Excited to see

It's interesting - Japanese styling transfused into Cali cars, then transfused back to Japan. They are imitating us imitating them with some Cali style.

Both the red Series 2 and silver S1 are clean

Thanks Tilt. My 8 is going to get a proper treatment over the winter when it's hibernating. I think my car is unique, not many 03 build GS's on here.

That red S2 is purdy, and I'm not sure bout the FD, I'm not a fan of those rims.

My point exactly

On the upside, it looks as though he has seen the light and has been doing things legit as of late

That FD is hot and probably looks sick rolling but it doesn't have enough tire for my tastes. Personally, on a sports car, I prefer not having so much stretch. I did it in the past, but it really makes the car unenjoyable to drive

^100% AGREED

A sports car just isn't a sports car if it can't be driven the way it's supposed to be. The type of car and it's modifications almost become irrelevant as it will be hindered by it's ability to prove itself on the pavement.

What about Automatics?

Only joking of course!! I think we agree on the main concept about stretched tires. Personally, I think a little compromise never hurt anyone with regard to ride height and fitment, I am just not down with throwing it all away.

Take a very beautiful painting that is sought after. Purchase it, and scribble all over it with markers. Call it a form of self expression.

Best analogy I can think of. Might as well have purchased a different painting to scribble on!

edit: Wow, I'm looking at the post counts/views for this thread and it's gotten pretty big! Approaching the 500k mark for views!
