Thanks, I think I want my car painted a different color lol IDK. Yeah that S2K looks sick. I would actually like to own one but I still have my Turbo 350z and I don't know what my next car will be yet at least until I'm finished with my rx8 which are fine for now. c41250n, that white pearl turbo rx8 is yours, ****, I did not realize that if so. Must be nice to have two, SHOWS/TRACK, lol.

Do you ever drive the car on public streets or is it just for show. Pretty expensive huh..

I drive it on street all the time, planning to track it soon too!
if you build a car and not to drive it, its a waste!

dude, this thing is sick but what about your other rx8, do you drive that one just as much. I'm sure you have fun with both and are they both turboed? If you plan on doing anything more why not just save for a 3 rotor, it does not have to be over done either, I'd say a good daily driver with 400whp will be nice, lol. Although I would rather have a good 300-325 to the wheels but also have the car handle like its on rails.

LOL

So I got a stellar quote from AssualtTech on the SSR rims

Now I just need to figure out offsets...

I still want to stick with the orignal size of 18x9.5 front 18x11 rear...I was thinking +34mm front and +42mm rear. Thoughts?

^Because this man has so much power to the rear wheels that he already has way too much oversteer. So he feels that staggering the setup might balance it out a bit

I sense sarcasm

I also eluded my snap oversteer issue is more rear shock/spring rate issue, but yes, throttling into a corner is very difficult. Seriously, drive a turbo RX-8 sometime and you'll see what I mean...

Besides, my car a street car, not a dedicated track car. In fact, up here, there are very few tracks I can goto. Fact is I build my car the way I want, and I think a staggered setup A) looks good, B) offers me more rear traction which I need, regardless of potential oversteer, and C) I want it.

I realize a lot of people track their cars and whatnot, and I do when I can, but that's NOT the point of my car, it's built so I like it. Tracking isn't as important to me as, for instance, you obviously due to many factors, and I never claimed to be some track junkie or "Carbon Fiber Time Attack Rx-8, DUH!"

^Just because I put a doesnt mean I was being sarcastic.

I understand why you wanted staggered and thought that what you use your car for, it will be a good idea.

All this could be moot, anyways because it hinges on me being able to sell my Grams (which I still love) for the price I want....

not as wide as one would think with an 11" wide wheel.

Honestly w/18x11's what tires could fit? I mean, going on a limb here to say they fit under the stock fenders, what tires could actually fit that would yield the benefit of the 'wider wheel, more traction' statement?

Nah throw some 295's on there. If you stretch a 255 or 265 on a 11 inch wheel that won't really help out your traction too much.

you can fit 305's with a pull

Atilla is spot on.
if you want wider tires / more traction the 11 inch wide is not going to work because you'll have trouble clearing the stock feners. It'll need a pull / roll and tons of camber.

Ogre, go 10" wide. Trust me..
275's fit pretty easily.

@ ross

Topgear: +1, a 255 tire on 18x11 would be going backwards, so to speak.
