just a stupid will it fit question (yes im posting it here)
If I'm currently running 18x10.5 +15 on 245/40s and i want more poke, if i go with 18x11 +10 on 245/40s that should fit too, just with more poke right? Same inset calculated...
Same goes with a smaller width, I'd go like 18x10 +5 on 245s right?
Just trying to gather my understanding of an offset calculator.

I am THAT guy

really?
because a wheel poking out of a tire really doesn't seem like the concept to me.
If what you're saying is true then putting on 215's on a 9" wide +50 wheel would be poke fitment...
There's more to achieving more poke in your fitment than simply running smaller tires....

I think it's just some confusion...
Stretching tires won't create more poke. Stretching tires and adding spacers will create more poke.
However, Munchy, keep in mind your wheel ~ fender clearance as I mentioned in my previous post.

well he wants a poke thats how u get a poke stretch tires and SPACERS.
they stretch tires to fit a larger wheel in the wheel well without the tires rubbing the fenders

^^^ why would you miss them, they are bigger now than they ever have been. Although I would prefer Nakai-san to be a little more selective in who he chooses to release the kits to, it seems that its becoming a trendy thing for rich celebrities to do now at least here in the US.

Thought I would pass this along for you aggressive wheel/tire guys since I have seen a couple of you run a similar setup. Posted a couple weeks ago, but may still have them. Hell of a deal.

If I get new wheels this season, they'll probably be square setup of VarrsToen's:
ES 1.1.1 18x10.5 +15
ES 1.1.2 19x11 +25 -> I think this would be awesome.
ES 3.3.1 18x10.5 +15
ES 3.3.2 19x10.5 +12
Someone convince me which one to get.
