Maybe I should just wait and order the CCWs like I was plannin here in the next few months, which I'm sure most of ya'll will like, especially with the widths I've picked out.
18x10 front with around a +30/+35 offset AND 18x12 rear with either a +35/+38 offset.
Tire's will probably be 255/35 up front, with *IF* I can get it to fit, a 295/30

Well I've talked to CCW a few times, and they said this would be the most aggressive and widest setup they have had anyone order for an RX-8.
I'm thinking +30 up front would probably give the best setup in regards to aggressiveness and flushness. For the rear though, I'm not sure if +35 is gona be to aggressive or not.

295 is not gonna fit the stock body that easily..

Quick question. Will 94-04 mustang spacers fit our car? The hub space is bigger and the bolt pattern is the same. I'm just talking small stuff like 5/16" or so. I wouldn't get the big stuff since it wouldn't be hubcentric. They are sooo much cheaper for just a piece of metal.

Now are you talking the 18x10 +15 setup, or the 18x10/18x12 setup? I'm still tryin to figure the best offset for the rear. The front I'm pretty much set on a +30. The rear though, I'm leaning more towards +35. That should put it out far enough, but not be too close to the shock. Or should I try and go +30 front/rear.
Yes I know a 295 isn't going to fit stock body very easily, but it'll fit. Once I get the wheels/tires(whichever way I go), I'm gona see how close it'll be with just a roll.

B) 18x12 +30 has 22mm less inner clearance than a 9.5 +45. Find someone with the common RPF1's and do some measurements on the inside! As far as outside, thats 11mm more than my 10.5 +22. Factor in the tire and things are going to get interesting, how much camber are you willing to run? How much fender work you willing to do? You will get nowhere near clearance of 18x12 +30 with just a roll, lol! You're really cool dropping 2k+ on a set of CCW's? That setup would be pretty damn mean though!

A) 18x10 +15 w/245 will fit front and back, 100% Takes some work, but doable on OEM parts. If you wanted 18x10 +30 on the CCW's, why not just do 18x10 +38 and throw on the 5mm spacer for the fronts?

I'm not tryin to be "COOL" top drop 2K+ on wheels, but the CCWs have been my dream wheel. I've only had the chance to put a set on 1 other vehicle, and I went with a set of BBS wheels for my old vette versus the CCWs and I regret it everytime.
I'd like to do just a slight roll in the front and fit 18x10 +30 with the tires I have planned. For the rear, if I can get my hands on a set of Panspeed fenders, think the 18x12s would have a little more of a chance of fitting? If the panspeed's would work like the wide fenders did for my old FC, I'd just cut the fenderwells up a couple of inches and should have plenty of room.
My only concern then is if I do get ahold of some panspeed rear fenders, that the front would look goofy with stock fenders and only 18x10 +30.
Also as it sits currently, I run a modest -3* up front and -3.5* in the rear. I know its a little excessive right now, but I was planning for spacers for my car.

I don't know, buying wheels new isn't exactly my dig, just seems like if you ever get bored of them you'll end up in the hole. Would for sure look badass though! Nothing like getting your dream wheels, thats true also! Really make sure there is enough clearance on the inside though. For the panspeeds you'll be hacking up the bumper + 1/4 panel, keep that in mind. That idea bothers some people for reasons I don't understand

Panspeed claims only +10mm but I am thinking that is including a 10-20mm lip that you can shave down for additional clearance. Same fenders I'll be running. Not so sure 18x10 +30 255/35 will fit with a slight roll, to tell you the truth, either. But hey, you can always roll 'em flat or do a hair of a pull to make them fit, thats no issue. It comes down to the panspeed rears which I'm still personally waiting on.

Yup, supposed 10mm addition. Like I said though, with most fiberglass over fenders, you shave down the lip to get the real additional clearance. Also, we're talking rear over fenders here (though I do believe the panspeed front fenders are also only +10mm). BN Sports are also suposedly 10mm but based off of pictures and their aggressive reputation they do look wider and I'm sure will provide more clearance after shaving down the lip. If you ever see +10mm fenders on a car, shaving down the lip makes tons of room.

Suppose someone will have to buy them and find out and then post it.

I'll be getting ahold of Panspeed either today or next week to find out about availability of their newer version wide rear fenders.
This setup is my dream setup, so if I have to do extreme mods to get them to fit, then so be it.
From what I gathered from talking to BN sports, their fenders are +10mm, but if its anything like their FC/FD fenders, you can gain about another 10mm-15mm from shaving the inner edge.
Their RX8 fenders are out of stock, but they can be drop shipped in about 3-4 weeks.
Once I hear a confirmation from Panspeed about their newer version rears, I'll know more in the terms of offsets.

Do you have connections with someone in JP? BN Sports haulted all shipping and even JP inventory isn't exactly well known, are they picking up again?...
Yeah, I haven't heard anything about the "new" panspeed rears, keep us updated...
Bunique - like I said, my guess is anywhere from 10-20mm
Anyways Fate, seems like a sick build, lets see it happen!

That is just what I was told when I talked to BN Sports USA. Said they could have a set of fenders drop shipped in 3-4 weeks. They just don't have stock and won't have anything in stock for 3-4 months.

Anyone have any updates to their cars? I think I'd kill for some SE37K 18x10.5 +15 in a wild color right now...
