Post is worthless without model quality girlfriend posing on the car.

wheels look beautiful konig, much more eye popping, yet subtle with the brushed faces. not the typical boring black face polished lips.

Just from the last few pages you say little positive about others' cars and tend to respond in a pompous manner. This post may be pointless and I hope you don't take it the wrong way, but come on - truly respect others' taste and acknowledge others' work. Car modifying isn't a competition (shows aside, lol) so yeah, other cars may be lower, may be higher; may be prettier, may be beat; main thing to remember is we're all rx8 owners (or have been, lol) and enjoy modifying the same car in an endless variety of styles.
Ah crap. You're right. I originally didn't mean to hate on the car with the fake lip. The stance is how I like it: low as possible! I just thought it was on bags and didn't quite approve of the drilling into the front end for the cheap lip (which I owned at one point) so the "real lip" part was a joke for the most part.
I just get angry when people tell me to go hard park my car. GRRRR
But yeah. I apologize to anyone I have offended. I know I don't have much room to talk being that I'm on a set of XXRs currently while I await my set of works for next season. You guys are swell. Thanks for pointing that out Matt. Always appreciated your positivity.

Haters be hatin'.

Alright, who is gonna be the first one to put the 15 inch wire wheels on their 8 with insane negative offset. All 90s minitruck style. Then we can all have some mutual hate with no disputes.

Then you just didn't have enough spacers. I have seen plenty of nonsense in the neighborhood where I grew up with 13 inch wheels poking out of everything.

Hey, trying to be nice here!
and with the smaller brake option I think 15s could clear with spacers.

Konig, nice stuff man. Really glad you changed it up from black centers. No more Sharpie touch-up now either! haha

Danny, no prob man. I really dig your car and I think other people do too.

Everyone here should just be one big happy family, no hating/jealousy/etc. from any corners of the room, applies to everyone

We can save arguing for ppl like Team

Wheel inner diameter clearance is the problem. Would literally have to space the wheels out so far that the inner barrel pokes out past the brakes. Not really doable, lol.

Just put the 18x10.5s on. I went to town on the fenders, kinda regret getting such an aggressive offset. Will be going lower once I make more clearance in the rear. Dont mind the cell phone pic.

Specs all around are 18x10.5 +22 with 265/35/18 Federal 595s.

That might be the worst picture showing wheel fitment ever. You should be proud because that's hard to do. There have been some doozies

It was just joking. Where I grew up I used to see a couple cars running around on 13 inch spokes with horrifying negative offset and spacers so they wouldn't hit the brakes. They were lowered only because the tires were so small. My stepdad's shop was constantly replacing their wheel bearings. To get that nasty today would need to be 15s I think. I still have nightmares of new Grand Prixs with 13s sticking 6 or 7 inches out of the wheel wells. Gangster

OH need some help

ok heres my issue i just bought a new set wheels and tires the same size as before but it has a different offset so now they stick out more and my fender now rubs my tires, only in the back, the car has been lowered and only has about an inch or less of travel before it touches tire
i'm just looking for some ideas for a cheap solution I'm guessing adjustable coilover system but i have very limited funds atm due to buying the tires and rims so if anyone can recommend any cheap fixes i would be grateful thanks
