I was thinking 18x8.5 et+30? or wider, I'm not sure. Looked at the Rota SVN's to save mula but i haven't seen them in person.

hmmmm.... 18x9.5 +28 or +22 all around would look legit. VERY pricey though; they pop up every once in awhile on evom

gonna put 225 and 255 tires!
cant put spacers with build in studs cause my wheels won't clear the extra stock studs, and i don't want to cut them. Eventually will get some new wheels!

Get the volks and keep yourself some resale value! Used from forums.evolutionm.net evo8/9 private section, they come up often. You won't lose money when you go back to resell, as long as they are in the same condition (and you don't overpay)

Your 5zigen wheels arent that pricey also. Rota's are almost as much as your wheels. Until your rolling on some Work or SSR, HRE or CCW's you have no room too talk lol

To get back on track:

I'm not so sure I like SSR Type-Fs that much anymore, they don't get concave at all and don't have a lip. Instead I'm thinking Volk CE28N 18x9.5 +22. I would go 10.5 but the only offset for that size is +15...

Or I could go back to my default choice of SSR Professor/Work Meister LOL. Or the new Gram Lights 57 Maximum Pro, basically my current wheel with a massive lip

Yeah I keep going back to them...timeless wheel. I just LOVE it. And 18x9.5 +22 will fit very nicely.

I just can never decide on wheels....I bounce back and fourth all the time.

Back on to the thread. Since everyone has covered aggressive offsets in the last 30+ pages. I notices no one has really gone over alignment specs such as camber? Would you guys like to share specs?

agree 5zigen cost about the same price as rota per rim. cant hate on rotas tons of people run rotas on the track, and there starting to come out with some good agressive offsets and wheel sizes.

LOL input I still do like the SSR Type-Fs! I just want a lip....ahhhh! Still not sure. I haven't seen many RX-8s if any with SSR Type-Fs. I saw an 18x9" Type-F in the flesh with no tire and picked it up- holy ***** it was light!

I'm still debating- it will be a few months before I do anything tho more than likely. It's a big purchase so I want to do it right...

I'll easily share, the ,most recent pics of my car are full positive and toe zero'd out as much as I can. Lowering this car a considerable amount shows to affect the camber range.

Dammit, I missed the fun? Looks like mr 91FC had some fair things to say, wtf got deleted?

I say the type F's, purely because they are seen much less often than the 28's
