So I measured the barrels wrong, wheels are going to be another half inch wider. I get this text from my friend who is building them...
"So my quick measurement without bolting wheels back up just slapping lips on and measuring is 18x11 -1 and 18x12 +3"
Good news is that the offset is just a little higher than previously measured, so I'm mainly just losing inner clearance which I have plenty of. The size is still pretty ridiculous though. The faces should be finished this week (including the waffle not pictured) along with the bolts being polished and cleaned up. I'll probably mount tires in the next couple weeks, by mid February I'm going to begin the fender pull and body work (side skirts, bumper, etc). Goal is to have the car finished by March 2nd for Tuner Galleria.
I'm so glad its all coming together now that these rear lips finally arrived.

how have I never seen this? What suspension are you on? what wheel? tires? Do you have over fenders or fiberglass fenders?
My goal was to have the most aggressive wheels on a stock body Rx8, I can't imagine 18x12 -15 being stock body. That's almost 20mm more poke than I will have.
Either way, I want to see! please please please post pictures! :D

EDIT: Creeped on your previous posts and saw that you were mocking up some old school Z fender flares. You never posted pics of the finished product! I would like to see!
